Can you write a whole story in six words?

The Accentuate Writers Forum ran a six-word story contest! The point is to tell a story with six words. Six words that set the scene so thoroughly, you know what has happened...although you might not know all of the back story that led up to it. For example: "For sale: baby shoes. Never worn." --Hemingway. It's an incredibly poignant story, although it leaves room for your mind to fill in exactly what happened.

Stop by the Accentuate Writers Forum and read the answers, then vote for your favorite! If you're not a member, feel free to join, or there are instructions on the thread to vote by other means. Vote here.
